As a congregational church, important TMC decisions are made by members. Those decisions are guided by a Pastoral Team and implemented by a Facilitator Team. The leadership language of TMC is English but the Facilitator Team consists of selected champions from various English, Japanese, and Chinese TMC ministries.

Motomichi (Moto) HaradaMoto leads TMC’s Japanese language ministries. He joined TMC’s staff team in April 2019. Raised in a typical non-Christian Japanese family in Kochi, he grew up as a physics-loving atheist. Yet he came to know Christ when he was studying in the US. After completing his PhD in physics there, he worked for an IT company in Japan. But he decided to become a pastor and went to Singapore Bible College for his theological studies. As a "returnee" himself who came to Christ abroad and returned to Japan, he is passionate about helping returnees remain in Christ and grow as Christians in Japan. His wife, Naoko, grew up in a Christian family in Japan, and studied puppet theater in the Czech Republic. They have two young children.
